Introduction: Sympliciti, Inc. offers energy efficiency services across the oil & gas value chain. Within the Extraction & Production part of the value chain we look at a number of key ‘events’ in the life of a field which can cause shifts in the amount of energy consumed and identify opportunities for energy efficiency. Some of the more significant events are thought to drive about 90% of the total energy consumption. For example: Gas lift, water injection, water cut, etc.
